Accessibility

What we do

Every part of this site can be reached with a keyboard, and the thing you have focused is always visibly outlined rather than left for you to guess.

Text is sized and coloured to stay readable against the dark background, and the page structure is marked up so a screen reader can move through it by heading.

Motion

The sun on the home page is animated. If your device is set to reduce motion, we do not run the animation at all and show a still sun instead. That setting is respected everywhere on the site.

Where it is weaker

The embedded players from YouTube and Komi follow their own accessibility, which we do not control.

The videos on this site do not currently carry captions we wrote. Where YouTube has generated them, the player's own caption button will show them.
